visitors to the City.
Ted Joyce, who’s 61, and his
younger brother, Andy (56)
are working together on the
City Sightseeing open top
bus service – Ted as a driver
and Andy as a guide.
Ted previously worked as a
bus driver for First, while
Andy was quite familiar with
distributing information after
37 years as a postman!
Meanwhile, City Sightseeing
is making it a real family affair
with a father and son team on
the staff.
Bob Watkins (61)
and son Ian (41) are working
as drivers – but no-one will
say who’s the better driver!
Putting Visitors First
Bristol’s City Sightseeing Service is the holder of
one of the UK’s top tourism awards.
The open top service, which last summer carried more than
18,000 visitors on tours around the City, was presented with the
coveted VAQAS (Visitor Accreditation) award from the then Lord
Mayor, Royston Griffey, and Feisal Khalif, the Marketing Manager
for Destination Bristol.
