Authentic Italian Restaurant in London Wins More Awards
The popular Italian restaurant in Putney, South West London, Enoteca Turi has
grabbed two prestigious awards this year and is fast being recognised as one of the
best Italian restaurants in London and a great place to sample fine Italian wines.
Lvybridge, Devon, UK May 28, 2009 -- The creation and passion of Giuseppe Turi.
Enoteca Turi the restaurant offers an exquisite and authentic Italian dining
experience and this has been highlighted by the recent acquisition of both the
Drinking Out Excellence Awards voting it 2009 Italian Wine Restaurant of the year
and Hardens London Restaurant Guide proclaiming it the best Italian restaurant in
London this year, the latter describing the food as "bursting with flavour.
" These
latest awards can be added to to the list of previous Italian food and wine
recognitions by the ITV restaurant award (twice), Zagat best Italian restaurant in
London award and the Harpers Magazine award for best wine list, all received in
previous years.
Much emphasis is placed on the relationship between food and wine and Giuseppe is a
respected authority on Italian wine and this shows in his selection and the ability
of the waiting staff to suggest the right tipple.
Giuseppe has extensively
researched and written about Italian food and wine and his knowledge certainly
shows in the end product.
There is a great deal of skill and experience in the
kitchen and even the cooking methods and many of the implements are of traditional
Italian origin which isn t something most Italian restaurants in London can boast.
Much of the food on the menu will not have been experienced by the casual lover of
Italian food before Giuseppe explains "Pizza and pasta, those indisputably
delicious yet ubiquitous staples of any Italian menu, have only appeared as part of
the country?s cuisine as recently as in the past 100 years ? adopted as a ?fast
food? by increasingly busy Italian families.

Lasagne, Spag Bol and the like really don?t represent traditional Italian cooking
