Skin Deep by Anthony Moman 5th July – 8th August Exploring the enigma of Warhol and his impact on pop art, Anthony Moman’s forthcoming Skin Deep exhibition at the Albergo Villa Casanova questions the relationship and adulation of the voyeur and pop art icons. Who were Marilyn, Audrey, James Dean and Steve McQueen? Were they worshipped for their onscreen or off-screen personalities? Originating from the United Kingdom, artist Anthony Moman migrated with his family to the Italian countryside surrounding Lucca in 2004. It is reported that Dante stayed at the family’s 12th century villa which overlooks Luca. A deconsecrated family chapel located next to the villa has been converted into an artist studio.
